Catalog & Stock Setup

This page explains how to set up items so sales and stock stay accurate.

Step 1: Add stock items first

Open Inventory > Stock and add:

• Name
• Current quantity
• Unit
• Barcode or SKU (optional)

Step 2: Add sellable products

Open Sales > My Items and add:

• Product name
• Selling price
• Barcode (optional)

Step 3: Link product to stock

If linked, stock decreases automatically when selling.

If not linked, you can still sell the product, but stock tracking is not enforced.

Step 4: Unit-specific products

If you sell by weight/volume:

• Enable unit-specific selling.
• Set sell unit and quantity step.

Example:

• Sell in 0.1 kg steps.
• Valid quantities: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0.
